Cookie Policy

This Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies we use, why they exist, and how you can update your choice.

Last updated: May 15, 2026

In short: By default we use only what's essential. Analytics only turns on if you accept it — and you can change your mind anytime.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files or identifiers saved in the browser to remember information, maintain sessions, protect the service, and operate preferences.

We may also use similar technologies when needed to deliver the Voynara experience.

2. Necessary cookies

We use necessary cookies for authentication, session refresh, security, OAuth, and basic application behavior.

These include backend-issued HTTP-only access and refresh cookies, plus the temporary cookie used in the OAuth flow. They are required to deliver the authenticated experience.

3. Preference cookies

The voynara_locale cookie stores your language preference for up to one year. The voynara_cookie_consent cookie stores your analytics choice for up to 180 days.

These cookies help us respect your choices without asking again on every navigation.

5. Third-party services

Voynara may use Google OAuth, Google Maps Platform, Foursquare, OpenStreetMap, OSRM, Google Fonts, and Google Analytics. Google Analytics depends on your choice; the others may be needed for authentication, maps, routes, places, or site loading.

Sentry may be used for backend error monitoring when configured in production. Voynara keeps default PII disabled and filters raw IP, cookies, tokens, identified users, request bodies, and sensitive parameters from error events.

6. How to change preferences

You can open cookie preferences from the footer, app profile, or the button below. If you reject non-essential cookies, Voynara keeps only necessary and preference cookies.
